To decrease the burden of female cancers in rural and medically underserved areas of Texas by improving the cancer screening knowledge, skills, and practices of nurses, The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Jasper Newton County Public Health District are offering a Female Cancer Screening Workshop on February 18 and 19 at the Jasper Fire Hall. The fee is $20.00. Continuing education units are available.
