Zumba is a fitness program that involves cardio and Latin-inspired dance. Zumba has been around since the 1990’s when it was first introduced by a dancer and choreographer named Beto Perez. Zumba is a registered trademake of Zumba Fitness, LLC. All rights belong to them, the health district, nor any of it’s employees, claim any rights to their content.
Mrs. Lillie Robinson, though not affiliated with Zumba directly, received training as a Zumba instructor and has been offering free Zumba classes at the health district office, and other locations provided to us by the wonderful support of our staff, our guests, and various local sponsors of the program.
Zumba is a fun and engaging way to get, or stay, in shape and share your experience with new and old friends alike.
Our free Zumba Fitness classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday at the Jasper Courthouse Annex. Classes begin at 5:30PM. Every 4th Tuesday of the month we offer door prizes and celebrate all the birthdays of that month with healthy Zumba friendly snacks! Come out and have fun and stay healthy at the same time. We would love to have you!
